Gerard V. Metzler - President, Founder
Gerry has over 35 years of management consulting experience and has used that experience to bring the highest quality of service to his clients across many industries. Gerry’s vision for QBA is to first and foremost “focus on solving client business and technology challenges.” During his consulting career (primarily in “Big Four firms” and then for IBM’s Global Consulting Business, Metzler has offered pragmatic leadership and counsel while taking on some of industries toughest challenges. Most recently, Mr. Metzler has been dedicated to serving energy clients and has served on the board of CCET (Center for Commercialization of Electric Technologies), GridWise Alliance Cyber-security, and the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) Grid 3.0 Workshop. Gerry is a graduate of Northwestern University.
William Grayhack - Partner
Bill has over 30 years of academic, consulting and business leadership, and is the former CIO of Bettis Atomic Laboratories. Bill has worked as an energy industry consultant, implementing PMOs, meter data management systems, and work management systems, as well as leading numerous post-merger integrations. Bill has a BS (Mechanical Engineering) and MS / PhD (Applied Mathematics) from Northwestern University, as well as an MS (Manufacturing Systems Engineering) from the University of Pittsburgh, and continues to work as an adjunct professor of mathematics.
Don Mak - Partner
Don is a seasoned consultant who has led major IT strategies and implementations for global organizations with IBM and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Don has worked across a broad range of industries including banking, energy, telecommunications, non-profit, and utilities. Don's experience includes business alignment, budget and planning, organizational development, systems integration, and project management.
Don received his MBA from the Wharton School and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Don also co-authored two patents for smart devices and energy management.
Kevin Monagle - Partner
Kevin works with energy & utilities companies and their technology partners to design and implement smart grid, big data, cybersecurity and digital customer experience programs. Kevin has led project teams recognized for excellence with 4 IBM Outstanding Technical Achievement and a Smart Metering Project of the Year awards.
Kevin has been granted smart grid related patents (US 8937456 B2, 8872667 B2) and is a graduate of Indiana University (BS) and London Business School (MBA).
