What is a Program?
A program consists of several related projects that need to be coordinated together in order to obtain benefits and controls not normally achievable as individual projects. A program manager has all of the skills set of a project manager but also has that executive-level strategic understanding of how multiple projects can come together and achieve results across the enterprise.
